Breathe Well Salve may help provide relief from chest congestion, coughs, and stuffy noses. This natural salve is a healthy alternative to traditional OTC medications that aren’t safe for little ones and have potentially harmful side effects. Our salve is perfect to have on hand for occasional sickness.
Traditional vapor salves contain petroleum-based ingredients and are toxic if ingested or applied to broken skin. Our Breathe Well Salve is made of natural ingredients, is non-toxic, and may even help nourish your skin, making it a must-have for your whole family!
ABSOLUTELY NO colors, flavors (natural or artificial), preservatives, added sugar, sodium benzoate, citric acid, acetaminophen, ibuprofen, top allergens (corn, soy, nuts, gluten, dairy, fish) or other junk!

Many natural vapor rubs contain eucalyptus or rosemary, which aren’t recommended for children. This formula was created with the whole family in mind and is safe for ages six months and up. Each oil was carefully chosen to safely aid in respiratory ease.
Lemon essential oil has effective antibacterial properties. Rosalina essential oil may support the upper respiratory system, especially in young kids. Balm mint bush essential oil has menthol to help give you that breath of refreshing, fresh air. This oil also may help to promote a healthy respiratory system overall. Finally, clary sage essential oil has natural anti-inflammatory effects. These ingredients combine in a base of apricot oil and candelilla wax to create a salve for easy application. While this product is safe for breastfeeding mothers, it may impact milk supply in those more sensitive to the mint family -- balm mint EO. NOT recommended during pregnancy. This product is not recommended for use while pregnant due to the Clary Sage essential oil, which can impact the uterus. |

FAQS
Q: Can I place Breathe Well Salve under my nose or is it only for applying to the chest area?
A: This is not intended for use under the nose. We suggest applying to the chest in the area directly over your lungs for best results.
Q: My product arrived melted. What should I do?
A: The quality of this product is not affected. Simply place the item in the fridge to re-harden it!
Q: Plants don't seem 'strong enough' to replace the remedies I'm used to. Does this really work?
A: Yes! Plants and what is provided in nature are a lot more effective than you may know! There are lots of studies about what they can do in our bodies. In the Ingredients tab, you can click on each ingredient to learn more about it and read some of the studies.
Q: When do products expire? What are the shelf life of your items?
A: In order to be FDA compliant, we are no longer able to put a Best by or Expiration Date on our products.
We do, however, have our Lot Number on all products, which can be found as a 7-digit number either printed on the label or a sticker placed on the container. This will tell the day the product was finished.
An example would be the lot number #2124005.
🟩 The first two numbers will indicate the year it was made.
So for the above lot, the first two numbers are 21 and so it was made in the year 2021.
🟩 The next three numbers will indicate the day of the year it was made using the Julian Calendar.
So the "240" day of the year would end up being the 12th of August.
🟩 The last two numbers will show the batch number made that day.
So "05" would be the 5th batch made that day.
🟩 This would mean that the product was finished on August 12, 2021 and was the 5th product made that day.
Shelf Life For Products:
Because our products are 100% natural with no artificial preservatives, they do expire.
The expiration dates are very loose estimates and products usually last much longer.
You can extend the shelf life by keeping your products in the refrigerator, although it is not required.
Products are safe to use past the expiration date, as long as they do not smell rancid (oil-based) or have visible mold (this is very rare unless contamination has occurred -- usually from mouth contact on the dropper).
