Cod Liver Oil – For Natural Vitamins A and D
Out of stock
Are you looking for a natural way to help increase your vitamin intake and help support overall health? Our Cod Liver Oil is a source of essential nutrients, containing Vitamin D, Vitamin A, and omega-3 fatty acids that your body needs. This oceanic superfood can be an excellent addition to your daily routine to help support brain and immune health.
Our Cod Liver Oil is sourced from the pristine waters of the Arctic Circle (Alaska). The fish are line-caught, and their livers are flash-frozen to preserve their nutrients until they reach the shore. The liver is then gently processed with low heat to extract the natural oil, ensuring that all vitamins remain intact. A small amount (less than 2%) of antioxidants is added to the finished oil to preserve its quality. Our Cod Liver Oil is available in both liquid and soft gels.

FAQs
Q: Does the daily dose of capsules equal that of the liquid form?
A: 2 capsules is equal to a ½ tsp of the liquid form.
Q: Is the taste strong?
A: We have found it to be a very mild taste and many of our customers are able to easily take it by mouth. If you are worried about taste, we also offer it in capsules.
Q: Will my burps taste like fish?
A: Due to the smell and taste being mild, the chances of it tasting like fish are low, however some may be more sensitive to it. In that case we recommend taking the capsules.
Q: What happens if I forget to refrigerate it?
A: Leaving it out for a bit won’t make it go bad, but it does shorten the shelf life. We suggest refrigerating it as soon as you realize you’ve left it out. If it has only been a few days, the shelf life will remain the same of one year. If it’s been a few months, you will need to check it every so often to make sure it hasn’t gone bad.
Q: Do the capsules need to be refrigerated?
A: No, but it may extend their shelf life if you do.
Q: What is the fogginess you can see within after it's been in the fridge/ is it normal?
A: Cod Liver Oil has naturally occurring fatty acids that cause it to look cloudy when refrigerated.
Q: What are the capsules made out of?
A: Our capsules are made of fish gelatin manufactured in South Korea from Carp sourced from Bangladesh and Tilapia sourced from Vietnam.
