Four herbs in an organic cane alcohol and filtered water base create the perfect herbal digestive bitters. Promote better nutrient absorption, support healthy digestion, and relieve stomach discomfort with Digest-Support.
Bitter herbs have been used for decades as digestive support tonics. Bitter and sour flavors promote the secretion of digestive juices that improve the digestive process. Modern diets typically avoid these flavors, so we don’t get what our digestive system needs. When food isn’t digesting properly, it can lead to gas, bloating, elimination issues, and poor nutrient absorption. Our bitters may help!

FAQs
Q: Why should I take something that may increase acid?
A: In many cases, indigestion is caused by too little acid, bile, or enzymes, not always too much.
Using herbal bitters can help support the body’s natural production and balance of acid to minimize the chance of indigestion.
Q: What is the best way to take Digest-Ease?
A: Digest-Ease should be taken daily for digestion support or as needed for easing digestive discomfort. We recommend 2 – 4 drops (for ages 2 –6), 5 – 10 drops (for ages 6 – 12), and 10 – 20 drops (for ages 13+). Digest-Ease is taken orally and can be mixed into juice, tea, or another beverage for easier consumption.
Q: This tastes bitter? Can I hide the taste? What is the best way to take Digest-Support?
A: Digest-Support works because of that bitter taste actually! We need most of that bitterness to remain.
It should be taken 20-30 minutes before eating meals. Take the recommended dose from the Usage tab at the top of the screen. Digest-Support is taken orally and can be mixed with as tiny an amount of water as possible for best results.
Q: I forget to take Digest-Support before eating; can I take it afterward?
A: Taking it afterward will probably have little effect since it’s designed to jumpstart the digestive process. If you forgot to take Digest-Support before eating, we recommend taking Digest-Ease to ease digestive troubles that may occur.
Q: What is the difference between Digest-Ease and Digest-Support?
A: Digest-Ease helps the body feel balanced and comfortable during occasional digestive discomfort.
Digest-Support, which is a digestive bitter, supports a comfortable digestive experience and helps promote a natural balance in the stomach.
Q: There is sediment at the bottom of my tincture bottle or discoloration of the dropper; what is it?
A: Since our products are made from herbs, sometimes herbal sediment isn’t completely strained. Chances are, if you notice any sediment at the bottom of the bottle or discoloration at the tip of the dropper, it’s from the herbs. As long as the product hasn’t passed the two-year shelf-life and doesn’t smell rancid, it’s still safe to use.
Q: Plants don't seem 'strong enough' to replace the remedies I'm used to. Does this really work?
A: Yes! Plants and what is provided in nature are a lot more effective than you may know! There are lots of studies about what they can do in our bodies. In the Ingredients tab, you can click on each ingredient to learn more about it and read some of the studies.
Q: When do products expire? What are the shelf life of your items?
A: In order to be FDA compliant, Earthley is no longer able to put a Best By or Expiration Date on our products.
We do, however, have our Lot Number on all products, which can be found as a 7-digit number either printed on the label or a sticker placed on the container. This will tell the day the product was finished.
An example would be the lot number #2124005.
🟩 The first two numbers will indicate the year it was made.
So for the above lot, the first two numbers are 21 and so it was made in the year 2021.
🟩 The next three numbers will indicate the day of the year it was made using the Julian Calendar.
So the "240" day of the year would end up being the 12th of August.
🟩 The last two numbers will show the batch number made that day.
So "05" would be the 5th batch made that day.
🟩 This would mean that the product was finished on August 12, 2021 and was the 5th product made that day.
Shelf Life For Products:
Because Earthleys products are 100% natural with no artificial preservatives, they do expire.
The expiration dates are very loose estimates and products usually last much longer.
You can extend the shelf life by keeping your products in the refrigerator, although it is not required.
Products are safe to use past the expiration date, as long as they do not smell rancid (oil-based) or have visible mold (this is very rare unless contamination has occurred -- usually from mouth contact on the dropper).
2 years for all tinctures
1 year for powders
1 year for oils (Gut Health Oil, Earache Ease, Cod Liver Oil, etc)
1 year for topical products
